Welcome to Piece of Mind. My name is Jodie and I am passionate about improving people's mental health and well-being. I provide face to face Psychotherapy services and Counselling in London, just a few moments from Liverpool Street Station as well as offering all services online. I understand that no two individuals are the same and that we all have different needs and face challenges which are unique to us. I facilitate a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space where you can work through any difficulties you may be experiencing. Together, we work toward creating a happier and more fulfilling life, enabling you to achieve improved mental health and positive life outcomes.
Take the first step towards a healthier, happier you by contacting me. We'll discuss your situation, what you're looking to achieve and the choices you have available to you.

A supportive and non-judgmental space where you can talk about your thoughts and feelings, leading to personal growth, problem-solving, and emotional healing.
A deeper, more exploratory approach that examines the underlying causes of emotional distress, helping you gain a better understanding of yourself and your experiences.
Before deciding to commit to a therapy, we can organise a free, 20-minute telephone consultation. The purpose of this call will be to establish what you would like to get from therapy and is to assist you with understanding whether I am the right therapist for you. This is completely optional, and you are under no obligation to move forward with therapy if you decide not to.
Your first session will be an assessment of your needs; we will look at what has brought you to therapy, why now, what you would like to achieve and any barriers you would like to overcome and any goals you would like to work towards.
Each session lasts for 50-minute session and takes place ideally at the same time each week. Therapy tends to work best when it is regular and consistent and as such, weekly sessions are advisable to begin with to enable us to build momentum and to develop our therapeutic alliance. The duration of your therapy be it psychotherapy or counselling, will be guided by your needs and I offer both short term and long-term options.
This is a guideline and I aim to work around the needs of the client and if weekly sessions are not suitable for you we can look at alternative options.
Maintenance/Holding sessions, or flexible monthly 'check-in' sessions are available should you require them. These sessions are generally used to support you in making the transition out of therapy and we continue to work together until a time where you feel ready to take all of your experiences and learning and apply them for yourself, by yourself – a little like removing the stabilisers from a training bike.
I'm here to support you every step of the way. Together, we can work towards a brighter, more fulfilling future for you.
